Situated between Quercy, Périgord and Limousin, in the borders of the valley of Dordogne, the shelter " the red hills " opens you its doors. It is a home of character in red stones, with a capacity of eight persons, on closed ground entirely restored (inside visible stones, beams wood). Enclosed private swimming pool and landscaped (8mx4m), with alarm. Quiet and pleasant site with open view over countryside and green hills.

The shelter is situated in the crossroads of numerous places of interest such as Collonges la rouge, Curemonte, Turenne, Beaulieu on Dordogne, Sarlat, Monédières, Goufre de la Fage, Goufre de Padirac, Eyzies, Rocamadour, Argentat (descent in canoe).

Christophe and Sophie welcome you into this house in the heart of the Limousin, for a stay of discovery and promise of rest.

Around

Many tourist sites are near the own of Lagleygeolle.

You can't miss Collonge la Rouge, beautiful and quite village with red stone, classified among the most beautiful villages in France.

Just as the typical villages of Turenne with its famous castle, and Curemonte its old streets, Branceilles and its vineyards.

You'll also see, near far away, the old town of Sarlat la Caneda with its local food, the "foie gras" (the fat liver), and its many restaurants.

You can also see the La Fage chasm (Goufre de la Fage) and the Padirac chasm (Goufre de Padirac)

Then you can visit the typical village of Rocamadour with its forest monkeys, the eagle rock, its narrow streets

If you wan to stay on place, many ways to hike are from Lagleygeolle ( La Chaise du Diable (the devil's chair), and so on...)

The shelter, with a capacity of eight persons, was completely rebuilt and equipped by his owner in 2004, it benefits from a livable surface of 160m ² and 170m ² of outside arrangements.

On the ground floor, is situated a room in pastelles colours of green and orange which will host 2 persons in single bed 140, served by an independent wc and a blue shower-room with blue furniture and 1 bowl .

A fully fitted kitchen (maintenance products included)  fully equipped with dishwasher, oven pyrolised, large fridge freezer, microwaves, will allow you, if you wish, to cook and to savour our various regional products of the soil (farmer Limousin calf, ceps and mushrooms, walnuts, strawberries Beaulieu, wine Branceilles and so on....)

To digest the lunch, a stay corner lounge will allow you to relax you with television TNT and foreigners television channels. For your long winter evenings, a fireplace " cantou " will relax you, supplemented by an electric central heating.

On the 1st floor there are three other rooms, the first is green for 2 persons with a bed in 140 and the second is pink, equipped as the first one. Finally, the third in pastelles colours blue and yellow will receive your children with 2 beds in 90, all this served by an independent toilet and a bathroom with shower and furnitures 2 bowls.

A playroom will enjoy your children and allow them to have a good time with various games of society. There is also a table of table tennis.

Outside, a big terrace (about 60m2), equipped with a barbecue will welcome you, The weather is too hot? Need some water? the swimming pool, deprived with alarm, sunbathing, will open you its doors.

 

Finally, younger and older will discover thanks to owner, farmer, the "têtée" of veal calves farmer, called "veau de lait du Limousin." Moreover, passionated by "lost" traditions will show you the craft manufacture of cream and butter as well as the baking of the bread in wonderful renovated bakery.
